Meals on Wheels is a wonderful Red Cross service that delivers lunch time meals to people who struggle to cook or provide meals for themselves. There are almost 12,000 meals delivered to homes around the country every week, and Step Ahead helps to deliver some of these meals.

Step Ahead Stanmore Road, Puriri Street, Rangiora, and Ashburton all help to deliver Meals on Wheels in their area. This happens on a weekly basis in Christchurch, and monthly in Rangiora and Ashburton.

Delivering Meal on Wheels is a rewarding volunteer community service, and members who get involved thoroughly enjoy the rewarding feeling of helping others. Come along to help out, as many hands make light work!
