Woodwork
The woodwork workshops at Step Ahead give members a space to learn about woodwork, including the use of tools and designing and creating items.
Step Ahead Trust runs regular woodworking sessions at our Puriri Street house, usually during the summer months.
This is a space where members can learn about the full process of woodworking, from using the tools, to designing items, to making it all come to life.
Those more experienced with the tools are welcome to work on their own projects, but we do have staff on hand to train and guide members through the basics if you’re new to the hobby.
