The music groups allows members to share their favourite tunes. We also love to hear music from those with instruments, and there’s the occasional singalong.
The music group at Step Ahead offers members the opportunity to choose a favourite piece of music, which is projected onto a big screen for everyone’s enjoyment and appreciation. We love to hear about members’ favourite songs and any interesting facts or information about those tracks, and we find it’s a great way to discover new music from a wide range of genres and eras.
These discussions often lead to more research about certain types of music, and we always encourage respect for one another’s tastes and preferences. You don’t have to love music that other members have chosen, but you must respect their choices.
Some of our talented musicians will occasionally play their instruments for us, and those who love to sing can join in on singalongs.
