  6. Meals On Wheels

    Step Ahead Stanmore Road, Puriri Street, Rangiora and Ashburton all take responsibility for delivering lunch time meals on the MOW rounds in their area. This happens on a weekly basis in Christchurch and monthly in Rangiora and Ashburton. Delivering MOW’s is a rewarding volunteer community service and is enjoyed by the members that are involved.     Meditative exercise, with slow circular and stretching movements plus positions of bodily balance. Held at Puriri Street every Wednesday morning and run by an expert Tai Chi Tutor who guides the group at a level that suits their experience ($3.00).

    The lockdown emphasised the advantage of being connected on-line.
