  7. Meals On Wheels

    Step Ahead Stanmore Road, Puriri Street, Rangiora and Ashburton all take responsibility for delivering lunch time meals on the MOW rounds in their area. This happens on a weekly basis in Christchurch and monthly in Rangiora and Ashburton. Delivering MOW’s is a rewarding volunteer community service and is enjoyed by the members that are involved.   8. Tai Chi

    Meditative exercise, with slow circular and stretching movements plus positions of bodily balance. Held at Puriri Street every Wednesday morning and run by an expert Tai Chi Tutor who guides the group at a level that suits their experience ($3.00).

  9. Computers & Technology

    These days we seem to be surrounded by technology of all types and getting to grips with things like smart phones, tablets, laptops, cameras and the like, can be a little confusing if not downright daunting.
